I am in the Applied Math Group in the Department of Mathematics at Syracuse University. As a numerical analyst, I work on numerical solutions of partial differential equations. My main research interests are in the following areas:
- Application of numerical methods (finite element methods) to approximate solutions, eigenvalues and eigenvectors of elliptic PDEs
- Aspects of generalized finite element methods in the context of their approximation properties, error estimation schemes, and implementation
- Elliptic PDEs with non-smooth coefficients
